Humera Iqbal is a Research Analyst at the Institute of Regional Studies (IRS). Humera Iqbal head the India Program section dealing with India’s External Relations. She had published number of research papers in institute’s honorable journal, policy paper, reports, and regional brief. Her research work has been cited by both the national and international research scholars. Humera Iqbal held position of member of the editorial board at IRS. She has organized and conducted informed roundtable discussions and conferences at the Institute with esteemed scholars; specialized experts.

She has supervised research thesis of MSc students and internees. She has been regularly associated with the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad as a visiting faculty. She teach Foreign Policy of Pakistan. Her research has covered topics related to Political and Security Matters of Afghanistan and India; Inter-State and Intra-State Conflict Issues; Foreign Policy Analysis in the context of South Asia; Foreign Policy of India; and Politics of South Asia, West Asia and Central Asia.
